When did you love for real estate start? I’ve always had a love of real estate…
1. When did your love of real estate start? In my early 20’s I would drive around Melbourne and appreciate architecture in areas where I would be socialising such as Carlton, Lygon and Parkville. This really inspired me to buy my first property at a young age.
2. What were you doing before real estate? My background involves working in the accounting and retail sector. I owned a bottle shop for a number of years in Newport.
3. Name something we might not know about you? I used to collect coins from the The Royal Australian Mint.
4. What’s your favourite recipe? Nothing goes past a good rack of lamb.
5. What do you love the most in your home? The sunlight which filters through our atrium divides the old and new so the Winter light I absolutely love. It’s a relaxing spot to kick back, relax and enjoy a coffee.
6. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I’ll still be working hard in real estate with one eye looking at retiring to the Beach Forest.
7. How do you start your day? I get up around 6.30, wake everyone up and then help my daughter get ready for school. Then we’re off!
8. Favourite type of architecture? There’s something so endearing about the curves, lines and charm of art deco. I also love the furniture from this era as well.
9. How would your closest family and friends describe you? Loyal with a dry sense of humour.
10. If someone asked you to give them a random piece of advice, what would you say? Always enjoy what you do and believe in ambitions. Life is too short!
