Meet Our Team: Nathan Johnson

Introducing…. auctioneer, agent and local resident Nathan Johnson!
We sat down with Nathan to find out more about this real estate family man.

Describe your approach to real estate.

My approach to real estate is a professional and personalised one.

What do you do in your time off?

It’s all about family for me. I live locally with my wife Susan and we have three little girls. Maya is 10, Zara is 6 and Ruby is 2. We are involved with the Newport Lakes Primary School community and get out and enjoy the nearby parks. We love camping as well.

What book has influenced you the most?

My brother’s biography. My brother is Brad Johnson the former captain of the Western Bulldogs and he wrote a book called Johnno: Bulldog Through and Through. He is my role model. Brad was an elite footballer and is in the AFL Hall of Fame. He is a great person and was an inspirational leader.

What would people say is the most surprising thing about you?

My sense of humour! (laughs). I have a casual, relaxed sense of humour. Many people see a professional, driven side but are pleasantly surprised when I can make them laugh as well.

What does your Netflix recently watched library look like?

I just let it run out! Haha! I’m not home much to watch TV. I like watching footy, I support the Bulldogs and I get to the footy as much as I can as well.

What’s the most played song on your phone?

I like music with a lot of energy. I’m a mega Metallica fan. I just got busted head banging in my car to Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden!

What’s one thing you still do the old fashioned way?

I’m still very passionate about getting to know the people behind the property so I can help them to the best of my ability. It was a golden rule that I was taught when I first started in real estate 18 years ago and I guess it stuck!
