Six Months Of Success
Jo McGrane from Williamstown has clearly found her career niche. She greets furry customers into the shop and sends them home with tails wagging, loves to chat with pet-obsessed people who enthusiastically share those never ending tales and brings a personal touch to every single transaction.
Six months ago, Jo opened the doors of “Dirty Dogs Pet Supplies,” a pet shop set on the vibrant, maritime village of Williamstown at 37B Ferguson Street. This is the third business which Jo has opened as there is one in both Hampton and Edithvale.
“I absolutely love my business as it’s close to home and Williamstown has such a warm, community atmosphere. We have 5000 products and stock everything for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs,” she explained.
It does not take long into the conversation before she like any passionate animal lover, talks about her two best friend’s, golden retriever, Atticus (named after character from How To Kill A Mockingbird) and cat, Mazzie (named after a famous singer.) “The pair love the perks of having an owner who brings treats home from work,” Jo laughed.
